...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR
CENTRAL CHISAGO AND NORTHWESTERN POLK COUNTIES...

At 514 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles north of
Center City, or 23 miles east of Cambridge, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Harris, Wild River State Park, Wolf Creek, Cushing, Taylors Falls
  and St. Croix Falls.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
